PERAN STRUKTUR PASAR DAN DAYA SAING DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA UMKM KERAJINAN KERAMIK

Abstract

Produk kerajinan keramik Kota Malang diharapkan mampu bersaing di pasar demestik maupun internasional karena memiliki ciri khas, tetapi perdagangan bebas melalui ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) dapat mengubah struktur pasar yang akan memengaruhi daya saing dan kinerja usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) keramik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran struktur pasar dan daya saing dalam meningkatkan kinerja UMKM kerajinan keramik di Kota Malang. Data dikumpulkan dari 30 pengrajin keramik di Dinoyo sebagai pusat produksi keramik di Kota Malang, dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis meng- gunakan model Generalized Structured Component Analysis dengan struktur pasar sebagai variabel eksogen, daya saing sebagai variabel intervening, dan kinerja UMKM kerajinan keramik sebagai variabel endogen.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur pasar tidak signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap daya saing dan kinerja kerajinan keramik di Kota Malang.  Daya saing juga tidak memediasi pengaruh struktur pasar terhadap kinerja UMKM kerajinan keramik, tetapi secara signifikan berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja keramik di Kota Malang. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa biaya produksi, kualitas, dan teknologi produksi adalah variabel-variabel daya saing yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja UMKM kerajinan keramik.
